2-BSeen Safety Brake and Signal System
We've heard it all before, the car pulls out in front of the motorcycle, causing a collision, and the hapless driver informs the reporting officer that he/she "never saw the motorcycle." An increased visual presence in the eyes of already distracted drivers is obviously an important factor in avoiding collisions, and 2-BSeen's stylish Safety Brake and Signal System should be a big help. The package consists of two chrome units that attach to the stock rearview mirror mounts on both ends of the handlebar. At the end of the curved stems, a housing with a wrap-around design sports a total of 19 bright LEDs facing front and rearward to ensure maximum visibility. The lights, if properly mounted, are designed to rest approximately 48-inches from the road, the height of a driver's eyes in a typical car. Both red and yellow LEDs light up when turn signals and/or the brakes are activated. There's no doubt that an extra set of bright lights can never be a bad thing.
When the Made-in-the-USA Safety Brake and Signal System first arrived, I have to admit to a bit of trepidation over the prospect of a self-install. Being a mechanical klutz, I'm easily confused by the sight of colored wires. But I dove in anyway. The thorough instructions quickly had me on my way and I'm pleased to report the job was successfully completed in under an hour, with only a few common hand tools required. Designed with cruiser style bikes in mind, the units are a nice-looking addition to our long-term Honda VTX1800T and work perfectly. We need all the help we can get in traffic, and the addition of 2-BSeen's Safety Brake and Signal System is yet another weapon in our visibility arsenal.
